MRI Technologist

The MRI Technologist must have experienced in the use of the following equipment: PIMC utilizes Shimadzu digital radiology and fluoroscopy units for its table exams and portable exams. A Canon DR plate system is used for both table and portable image capture.

Will perform a range of Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) examinations per request of the Medical Staff for use in clinical diagnosis, including patient screening and monitoring, patient therapy and status.

The MRI Technologist shall be sensitive to Cultural aspects of Native American Indians in providing health care as patients.

Must independently perform MRI examinations.

The MRI Technologist should be required to complete PIMC mandatory training monthly or as needed.

Education: Academic degree from an accredited Radiology Educational Program (Radiology).

Experience: Minimum one (1) year experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Certification: Current ARRT (The American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI).

Current BLS (Basic Life Support).
