About This Role
The Magnet Program Director is responsible for leading activities required to attain and maintain ANCC Magnet Status. This role involves planning, coordination, education, and collaboration regarding Magnet recognition.

What You'll Do
- Lead activities to attain and maintain ANCC Magnet Status.
- Develop and manage the comprehensive project plan for the assigned campus.
- Coordinate preparation, editing, and publication of the Magnet document.
- Identify, collect, categorize, and track evidence for sources of evidence (SOE).
- Complete campus-specific Demographic Data Collection Tool (DDCT) and interim monitoring.
- Manage data collection related to nursing dashboards and NDNQI clinical data.
- Analyze nurse-sensitive patient outcome data and compare performance to benchmarks.
- Promote a culture of patient safety, nursing research, innovation, and recognition.
- Educate Magnet Champions to enhance and promote the Magnet culture.
- Collaborate with nursing managers and leaders to drive changes and support projects.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience
- Minimum of 2 years in a leadership capacity
Licenses & Certifications
- NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License required
- Specialty Certification in nursing required
