Tableau Developer/AdminWe have an immediate opening at the Department of Employee Trust Funds (ETF) for a Tableau Developer/Admin. ETF is a state agency that is recognized as a leader in providing public employee benefit systems. This position will primarily be involved in business intelligence including Tableau development and administration but will also participate in user interface development for our Master Data Management (MDM) solution.ResponsibilitiesDesign Tableau dashboards following best practices including visual design principles.Gather and document business requirements.Provide ideas for dashboards aligning with high-level requirements and work iteratively with business partners to refine requirements to deliver the final product.Participate in the development and enforcement of Tableau standards and processes to ensure high-quality deliverables.Perform testing to certify Tableau dashboards for production use.Develop queries to execute in the data lake platform and automate data extracts from other data sources.Provide direction and mentoring to analysts on Tableau development, dashboard usability, and design best practices.Perform Tableau site administration including organization, optimization, tuning, and ensuring the security of data using Tableau Server with a strong understanding of security policies and best practices.Provide user interface development and testing with Semarchy (MDM).
