POSITION OVERVIEW
Operating within the core infrastructure department and reporting to the Engineering Manager, this role solves the critical business challenge of extending robust remote management and hardware-level capabilities from Linux into the macOS ecosystem. The incumbent will develop advanced thin client management solutions for Mac Minis operating within enterprise Windows 11 VDI environments.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement remote management capabilities for macOS hardware, peripherals, and thin client terminals within virtualized environments.
• Engineer solutions close to the hardware layer leveraging OSX internals and Core APIs using C, C++, Swift, or Golang.
• Integrate new management features seamlessly into existing team CI/CD development pipelines.
• Optimize thin client behavior and hardware performance within Citrix and VMware Horizon VDI deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional platform teams to transition proven remote management frameworks from Linux to the Mac ecosystem.
