Aircraft Parts Manufacturing and RepairManufacture and repair aircraft parts using CNC and conventional milling machines, lathes and other standard machine shop equipment from engineering drawings. Draw and program parts using CAD/CAM software. Other duties as assigned.Required Job Skills:High school diploma or GEDGraduate of a certified machine trades programEffectively speak, read and write in the English languageThree (3) year's experience setting up and operating CNC vertical mills, and basic programming skills, as well as performing manual machining.
Must be able to read and work from blueprints, drawings, and have the ability to inspect parts, using precision measuring equipment.Ability to operate CAD/CAM softwarePreferred Job Skills:Mastercam® CAD/CAM softwareFARO® CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine)Polyworks® 3D Metrology softwareWorking knowledge of process improvement methodology and application (i.e., Six Sigma, Lean Principles)
