MachinistWe are seeking a skilled machinist to set and operate machines, specifically milling machines, to create machine parts that meet precise specifications.ResponsibilitiesSet up and operate milling machines.Measure, examine, or test completed units for defects and ensure they conform to specifications using precision instruments like micrometers.Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, or materials onto machines.Monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process.Essential SkillsExperience in setting up and operating machines, specifically milling machines.Proficiency with CNC operations.At least 1 year of machine operation experience.Familiarity with using precision instruments such as micrometers and calipers.Work EnvironmentJoin our team working in a dynamic environment with openings available on the 2nd and 3rd shifts.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wichita, KS.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
