– 3 p.m. (optional OT on Saturdays)Why consider this Machinist position:Family-owned company where the owners are present and involved every day.Clear career path from Operator to Setup Operator to Programmer.Anniversary bonuses that reward your loyalty and longevity.Strong, stable growth with a respected, quality-focused manufacturer.Supportive team culture rooted in quality so you can feel proud of your work.Robust benefits package to make you feel valued.How you'll spend your time as a Machinist:Load material into CNC lathe/mill equipment with bar feeders.Read blueprints and verify part dimensions to specifications.Measure parts using micrometers, calipers, and pins.Make offsets to keep parts within tolerance.Identify signs of tool wear and report concerns to leadership.Track part quantities and prepare parts for the next operation.Support changeovers and make basic program edits as needed.Keep your machine and work area clean and organized.Skills & experience we'd like you to have as a Machinist:1+ years of machining or machine shop experience.Ability to read blueprints and use basic measurement tools.Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn machining.Basic G-code or program editing knowledge is a plus.Mastercam experience is a plus but not required.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Ability to stand, lift, and perform physical work in a shop.Reliable, safety-minded, and able to follow direction.
