MachinistLocation: Tulsa, OK (100% Onsite) Duration: 6 Months Contract Pay Range: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour on W2 Shift: 1st shift, 6:00am-2:30pm with OT starting at 4am IF deemed necessary. We cannot guarantee OT hours.DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual to join our team. This role is responsible for independently setting up, operating, and troubleshooting a variety of CNC and/or manual machining equipment to produce precision components that meet quality and production standards.Responsibilities include:Set up and operate CNC and/or manual mills, lathes, and other machining equipmentInterpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to determine machining requirementsSelect appropriate tooling, fixtures, and materials for each jobPerform first-article inspections and in-process quality checks using precision measuring instrumentsAdjust offsets, feeds, speeds, and tooling to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish requirementsTroubleshoot machining issues and recommend process improvementsMaintain equipment and ensure a clean, safe, and organized work areaAccurately complete required documentation and production recordsMust Haves:0-3 years of machining experience in a manufacturing environmentProficient in CNC setup and operation (mills and/or lathes)Experience using precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, indicators, etc.)Ability to read engineering drawings, and perform simple arithmetic calculationsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionStrong attention to detail and commitment to qualityHigh school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification preferred but not required
