Machinist TraineeThe Machinist Trainee position is designed to provide individuals with foundational skills and knowledge in the steel manufacturing industry. Trainees will learn to operate various machining tools and equipment, gaining hands-on experience that is essential for their professional development. Machinists are responsible for the safe transport, loading, and unloading of steel forgings.
They are tasked with the safe operation, cleaning, and minor maintenance of various machine tools. Machinists must follow instructions from supervision and work order packets and record work activities as needed. As trainees progress, they will contribute to the production of high-quality components that meet industry standards.
