Key job responsibilities include maintaining a safe work environment, interpreting work orders, drawings, and blueprints, securing and fabricating necessary tools and materials, utilizing measuring equipment, communicating information clearly, setting up manual and CNC equipment, operating lathes and drill presses, and knowledge of CNC equipment capability and daily maintenance.Qualifications/RequirementsHigh School Diploma or GED. Technical school certificate or degree program in instrumentation and electrical maintenance or controls. Previous experience with CNC machines preferred but will accept electronics technician or process controls technician level of experience. Computer skills, good verbal and written communication skills, organizational skills, and abilities to prepare machine condition reports. Work effectively within a team and require limited supervision.
Must provide own tools (primarily hand tools but will be provided a minimum tool list). Large hand and power tools are company provided. Entrance testing to determine knowledge, aptitude, and suitability for the position.
