You will support production, continuous improvement, and quality initiatives while working onsite on 1st shift (7:00am–3:30pm). Your work impacts the production team, engineering, and quality stakeholders.Here's How You'll Make an Impact on the TeamSet up and run multiple production machines (manual lathes, mills, surface grinders, etc.) and perform machine operations such as cutting, shaping, deburring, drilling, and reamingAlign and fasten work using standard fixtures and established methods; install and adjust cutting toolsAdjust feeds, speeds, and depth of cut to achieve required part quality and report machine issues for correctionInspect parts using gauges, calipers, micrometers, comparators, and magnification to ensure conformance to specificationsRoutinely maintain equipment and perform statistical process control (SPC) as requiredApply lean concepts and identify opportunities for process improvementFollow blueprints, route sheets, and established manufacturing methods; perform rework as neededComplete required prescreen questions and use computers to access blueprints and process plansHere's What You'll Need to Be Successful in This RoleMinimum three years of related machining experienceAbility to make machine setups and work with limited guidance in a team environmentProficiency reading and following blueprints, specifications, and verbal instructionsWorking knowledge of machine shop mathematics (may include trigonometry)Ability to inspect parts to close tolerances using precision measuring toolsAbility to use computers to pull up blueprints and process plans and use job-specific software applicationsDemonstrated ability to apply lean initiatives and participate in continuous improvementStrong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skillsPay Range$28.00 - $29.00/hourReady to Make Your Mark?This role may fill quickly.
