Machinist Second Shift

Second-Shift MachinistBring your CNC machining experience to a precision manufacturing team. As a second-shift machinist, you will set up and operate CNC lathes or mills from existing programs and tooling information, make offset adjustments, and inspect parts to print specifications.Set up and run CNC lathes or mills, including equipment such as Mazak, using established programs and tooling information.Adjust tool and machine offsets; troubleshoot tooling issues to maintain part quality.Inspect parts with measurement or vision equipment, such as MicroVu or Keyence, and deburr as needed.Complete first article inspections, day-by-hour reports and other required production records.Work independently and collaborate with the team to meet quality and production expectations.High school diploma or GED and at least two years of machine shop experience.Ability to read blueprints, apply basic math and follow written and verbal instructions.Experience troubleshooting tooling and producing parts to specification.Second-shift differential eligibility applies.Shift: 2:30pm-12 amCompetitive compensation and benefits offered.Verstela is an Equal Opportunity Employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or any other status protected under federal, state, or local law.
