You'll work under experienced machinists while building your technical capability.Your responsibilities will include:Operating manual and CNC machines including lathes, mills, grinders, and drillsReading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawingsSetting up machines for production runsSelecting appropriate tooling and adjusting speeds and feedsInspecting finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and gaugesRecording production data including quantities, downtime, and scrapPerforming routine machine maintenanceFollowing all shop safety proceduresThis is real machining work in a fast-paced precision manufacturing environment.What we're looking for:Required:High school diploma or equivalentBasic math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)Ability to read blueprints or willingness to develop the skillStrong attention to detailManual dexterity and mechanical aptitudePreferred:Trade school or vocational machining programPrior machining experienceFamiliarity with CNC operationSome experience is helpful but not required. We provide training for motivated candidates.Working conditions:Manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving machinery, and production equipment.May involve exposure to fumes, airborne particles, soldering materials, and chemicals in ventilated areas.Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection.Temperature conditions may vary depending on facility.May require overtime to meet production schedules.Physical requirements:Reasonable accommodation may be provided to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role. The hourly pay range for this role is $22.13 – $32.00 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity.
