Machinist OperatorMachinist Operators operate a variety of machine tools to produce precision parts and instruments out of metal, plastic or other materials. Operators will load materials into the machine tools for production. Must be able to safely use all machine shop equipment.
They will inspect parts for quality and drawing conformity. Applies knowledge of mechanics, mathematics, metal properties, layout, and machining procedures.
