Equivalent combination of education and hands-on machining experience will be considered. Training in CNC programming, blueprint reading, and precision measurement tools is highly valued.Experience RequirementsMinimum 5 years of experience operating and setting up CNC lathes, manual lathes, and vertical mills. Proven experience programming and editing CNC machines using G-Code and M-Code. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications.

Experience performing first-piece inspections and using precision measuring equipment. Background troubleshooting machining, tooling, and production issues in a manufacturing environment.Preferred QualificationsKnowledge of standard manufacturing processes, machining practices, and quality standards. Understanding of metal properties, material selection, and machining applications. Ability to optimize CNC programs to improve efficiency, quality, and production output. Strong communication and teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.

Experience managing multiple projects and meeting production deadlines.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Must be safety-focused and able to follow all workplace procedures. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions throughout the shift. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Job DutiesSet up and operate CNC lathes, manual lathes, vertical mills, and horizontal mills to manufacture precision components. Program, edit, and optimize CNC machinery using G-Code and M-Code. Perform machine setup, tooling adjustments, part indicating, and process monitoring. Read blueprints and inspect machined parts to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer specifications. Conduct first-piece inspections and verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot machine, tooling, and production issues to minimize downtime.
