Machinist, Lathe 3 - Weekend Shift/Part-Time

We provide customers leading edge support from prototype to production.This position is for Weekend Swing Shift Part-Time - Saturday and Sunday, 12-hour shift from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 a.m.Summary of position:As a CNC Lathe Machinist 3 required to set-up and run the most complex proven or new parts with little to no supervision. Will assist in the development of new processes.Ensure all tooling and fixture used in the CNC area is adequately designed, cost effective and procured in such a manner which supports customer deliveries and company budgetsManually program machines utilizing proficient knowledge of CNC controlsRead blueprints, tooling instructions, and standard charts for specificationsPerform first piece inspection accurately, assist in development of check sheets.Qualifications:Completion of vocational education or four years formal apprenticeship preferred.Completion of Machine Tool Technology program preferred.Minimum 5 to 7 years' work experienceAssociate degree in Machine Tool Technology preferredCulture:At FM Industries our success is powered by people and technology.
