CNC Machinist$23-$27 per hourWe are seeking an experienced Machinist to join a local manufacturing and fabrication facility. This role is responsible for operating machining equipment, producing precision metal parts, and ensuring products meet quality and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have machining experience, strong mechanical skills, and the ability to read blueprints while maintaining a strong focus on safety and quality.Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment, including lathes, mills, grinders, and other fabrication tools.Read and follow blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings.Measure finished parts using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools.Adjust machines and tooling to maintain quality and accuracy.Perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance.Inspect parts to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.Complete production and inspection paperwork.Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.Work with supervisors and team members to improve processes and resolve production issues.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED required.2+ years of machining experience preferred.Experience operating CNC and/or manual machining equipment.Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Physical Requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.Comfortable working around machinery, metal materials, and manufacturing equipment.Must follow all PPE and safety requirements.Work Environment:Manufacturing and fabrication facility.Fast-paced environment involving machinery, tools, and raw materials.
