Machinist IIA Machinist's job involves operating manual and computer-controlled machine tools to produce precision metal and plastic parts, often using blueprints, sketches, or CAD/CAM files. Previous CNC Machine Experience is required. They set up, operate, and maintain various machines like lathes, milling machines, and grinders, ensuring the parts meet specific requirements. Machinists also inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy, using precision instruments. Education and/or experience: High School Diploma/ GED. Four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Physical demands and work environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach and move about the facility. The environmental characteristic for this position is an office setting. Candidates should be able to adapt to a traditional business environment.
