Bench/HydroThe entry level Bench/Hydro role is responsible for removing irregularities, surplus metal-ragged edges, burrs, etc., from parts.Principal ActivitiesPrepare for and test subject parts to varying pressuresRemove burrs, fins, core wire, sand, and irregularities from unmachined surfaces of various parts by filing, grindingClean/wash partsUse hand and power grinders, scrapers, files, buffing equipment, vibratory tumbling machine, and mediaHigh pressure washer, holding, and clamping devices, wrenches, pressure gages, water, air, sealing solutions, hoist-operated cranes, and other lifting equipmentUtilize multi-function electric or air-crane (where available) to lift, move, load, and unload parts to perform work center functionsProperly fill out all paperwork and keep good housekeepingCandidate RequirementsKnowledge Skills & AbilitiesRequired to follow written and verbal instructionsSelf-driven and able to self-manageMust be able to lift up to 25 lbs unassistedLift, pull, push.
