Preferred Job QualificationsCandidate to have at least 5 years previous experience in aerospace manufacturing or related industries familiar with inspection processes and basic quality standardsAbility to measure, mark, and verify dimensions of finished parts using precision tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)Select appropriate tools, fixtures, and materials for each jobMonitor machining operations to ensure parts meet specifications and quality standardsAdjust machine settings, tool offsets, and feeds/speeds to optimize production and accuracyKeep equipment clean and in proper work order, clean work environmentRecord production data, job progress, and inspection resultsCollaborate with engineers, programmers, and inspectors to resolve machining or design issuesAbility to safely lift and move materials as requiredStrong organizational and time management skillsAbility to follow written and verbal instructions accuratelyCommitment to safety protocols and workplace cleanlinessStrong teammate skills with the ability to work independently when neededPhysical and Mental RequirementsAble to lift 25 pounds regularlyAbility to sit or stand for extended periodsMust be adaptable to a constantly changing environment and perform well under deadlinesExperience and EducationPrevious experience in a similar role is preferred but not requiredMust demonstrate the ability to learn and apply new skills effectivelyJob DescriptionWe are looking for motivated individuals who can contribute to our team-oriented environment and handle the demands of a high-paced production settingPlease note that this job description is not exhaustive.
