MachinistVolt is immediately hiring Machinist in Chillicothe, IL.As a Machinist you will:Primary ResponsibilitiesThis position requires several years' experience in a shop floor environment performing saw cutting, grinding, polishing and other machinist work.The machinist will work on a team that provides machining support to a metallurgical testing laboratory.The machinist is required to follow written instructions and be able to read blueprints.The machinist must pay attention to detail and be quality oriented and equipment used to perform machinist job functions include abrasive cut-off saws, surface grinders, lathes, reciprocating mill, and large band saws.The machinist must be capable of communicating with all levels of employees found in a professional lab environment, including supervisors and company engineers.The machinist must be team oriented, self-motivated and be flexible to working weekends and overtime when needed.This is a Full Time, Long-Term opportunityShift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PMPay Rate: $21- $28 per hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.Benefits: Volt offers benefits (based on eligibility) that include the following: health, dental, vision, term life, short term disability, AD&D, 401(k), Sick time, and other types of paid leaves (as required by law), Employee Assistance Program (EAP).Volt is an Equal Opportunity Employer and prohibits any kind of unlawful discrimination and harassment.
