This is a hands-on machining role for someone who enjoys working with CNC and manual equipment, reading mechanical drawings, producing quality parts, and developing their machining skills in a collaborative manufacturing environment.You'll work closely with manufacturing and mechanical engineering teams to machine, inspect, and assemble precision components while maintaining high standards for quality and safety.What You'll DoOperate CNC lathes and/or machining centers based on your training and experiencePerform manual machining using mills, lathes, grinders, drills, and other equipmentSet up machines and make basic program edits as neededRead and interpret mechanical drawings, including datums, GD&T, tolerances, and multiple viewsMeasure and inspect machined components using appropriate gauges and inspection toolsPerform basic assembly of mechanical components as requiredPerform routine machine maintenanceIdentify and address quality issues during the machining processMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work areaWork with Mechanical Engineers and other manufacturing team membersTake on additional machining and manufacturing responsibilities as neededWhat We're Looking ForHigh school diploma or GED2+ years of hands-on machining experienceExperience with CNC machinery and/or manual milling machines, lathes, grinders, and drillsAbility to read and work from mechanical drawingsUnderstanding of GD&T, tolerances, datums, and drawing viewsExperience measuring and inspecting machined partsBasic machine setup and program editing experienceStrong mechanical aptitude and willingness to continue learningAbility to work independently as well as part of a small teamPositive, collaborative attitude and strong attention to detailWhat You'll GainThis is an opportunity to work in a hands-on precision manufacturing environment where you'll have exposure to a variety of machining tasks and equipment.
