Your day-to-day work will be hands-on—operating CNC lathes and machining centers, setting up tools and workpieces, monitoring equipment, and ensuring every part meets strict specifications. You'll read and interpret blueprints, set-up sheets, and routing documents, working with accuracy and consistency to produce high-quality results. Many tasks will require strong focus, mechanical insight, and a commitment to safe, reliable operation—often including the use of cranes to move large or heavy components.Success in this position comes from a solid foundation in machining practices, a strong mechanical aptitude, and an ability to maintain precision throughout repetitive and detailed work.
