Machinist – 3-Day Workweek

CNC Mill or Lathe Machinist – Experienced (3+ Years)Looking for a machining schedule that gives you four days off every week? Join our 2nd shift machining team and work three 12-hour shifts Tuesday through Thursday. This is a high-mix, low-volume job shop, so you won't spend every day running the same part. Most jobs involve small quantities and a variety of parts, setups, materials, and machining challenges.You'll be responsible for:Setting up and operating CNC mills and/or lathesSelecting tooling and setting offsetsProving out programs and making edits at the machineReading blueprints and GD&TInspecting your own parts and holding tight tolerancesTroubleshooting machining and tooling issuesMaking adjustments to improve quality and cycle timesWorking independently and taking ownership of your jobsMachines You'll Work WithHaasKitamuraDoosanTrakWhat We're Looking For3+ years of CNC machining experienceStrong CNC mill and/or lathe setup experienceThe ability to set up and run jobs independentlyExperience making program edits at the machineStrong blueprint reading and GD&T skillsExperience using inspection tools to verify your workGood troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience working in a job shop or high-mix environment is a plusWhy Join EMT International?A schedule that's hard to beat.
