Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:Eaton's B-Line division is currently seeking a Machinist to join our 2nd shift team in Tool and Die. This position is based at our Reno, NV.Able to determine and assess damage to existing tooling and what steps necessary to repair tooling.Able to determine if Die is dull or cracked and needs to be resharpened or repaired.Able to determine if the poor quality of a product is the result of a tooling problem, or a setup problem.Able to Perform Die Changeovers for different products.Read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and tape measure for checking dimensions.Qualifications:Basic Qualification:Must have a minimum of three (3) years machining experience and skilled in the operation of lathes, grinding machines, milling machines, drill presses, and surface grindersMust have a minimum of three (3) years experience in an industrial environment or similar environmentAbility to read blueprints, use calipers, micrometers, and tape measures for checking dimensions.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.

Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.Skills:Position Criteria:Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal formatAble to work safely and produce effectively with minimal supervision.Able to stand on feet continuously during working shift.Able to regularly lift 35 pounds without assistance. Occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
