Machinist - 2nd Shift (Onsite)

Machinist TechnicianThe Aftermarket Repair organization (PSD) located in Springdale, AR is looking for a Machinist Technician for 2nd Shift hours are Monday-Friday, 3:00PM-11:30PM. You will receive a shift differential when working on 2nd shift of 8%. Employee is subject to training on 1st shift.

1st shift hours are Monday-Friday, 6:30AM-3:00PM.PSD is a clean, well-lit, state-of-the-art machining center in a climate-controlled facility. Overtime opportunity may be available, after a period of training. Pratt & Whitney PSD is an FAA regulated facility, and compliance with such rules is a condition of employment.What You Will Do:Set-up and operate conventional, special purpose, and computerized numeric control (CNC) machines to fabricate and repair metallic and non-metallic parts.Read blueprints, drawings, manuals, specifications to determine machine and set-up requirements.Set-up and prepare includes: set up of fixtures, tools, attachments, and accessories.Operator level maintenance of machine and set up documents.Use measuring devices like micrometers, calipers, to ensure specifications are met.Maintain a clean work environmentQualifications You Must Have:HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g.
