In this hands-on role, you'll operate CNC and manual grinding equipment, inspect your work, and ensure every part meets the highest standards for quality, safety, and performance.Shift: Monday-Friday (Days may fluctuate due to business needs, Monday-Sunday) | 3:00 PM-11:30 PM Shift Differential: $1-$3/hour based on assigned workdays Sign-On Bonus: $1,000What You'll Do:Set up and operate CNC and manual grinding equipmentMachine and repair precision aerospace components to close tolerancesRead and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawingsInspect parts using micrometers, calipers, pi tapes, and other precision measuring toolsChange tooling and adjust machine feeds and speeds as neededPerform routine equipment maintenance and complete inspection documentationOperate overhead cranes and safely handle parts and materialsMaintain a safe, clean, and organized work areaSupport continuous improvement and quality initiativesWhat We're Looking For:Machining experience in a manufacturing environmentExperience operating grinding equipment preferredAbility to read blueprints and understand GD&TProficiency using precision measuring instrumentsStrong mechanical aptitude and math skillsAbility to work independently with attention to detailCommitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvementThis position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays.
Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions.
