Location: Phoenix, AZ. Shifts:1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM3rd Shift: 10:00 PM – 6:30 AMPay: $21.18 – $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and shift.Position Summary: As a Machining Operator, you will operate CNC and manual machining equipment to manufacture precision gears and mechanical components while maintaining strict quality standards and production goals. This role requires attention to detail, performing in-process inspections, documenting production data, and supporting a safe, organized manufacturing environment.Responsibilities:Operate multiple CNC and/or manual machines to meet production schedules.Perform routine machine cleaning and basic preventive maintenance.Conduct in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measuring equipment.Record inspection and production data accurately to maintain traceability.Verify finished components meet engineering drawings and quality standards.Replace tooling and inserts as needed to maintain machining efficiency.Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality system requirements.Report production or quality concerns to supervisors promptly.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment using 5S principles.Follow all workplace safety policies and procedures.Qualifications:High school diploma or GED.Minimum 2 years of CNC or machining equipment operation experience.Experience machining precision components.Lathe experience preferred.Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Comfortable standing for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.Preferred Skills:Machine setup experience, including tooling changes and offset adjustments.Blueprint reading and GD&T knowledge.Experience working within ISO quality systems.Basic machining troubleshooting skills.Work Environment:Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery, moderate noise, and metalworking fluids.Frequent standing, walking, and material handling throughout the shift.Safety-focused environment requiring PPE and adherence to manufacturing procedures.Benefits: Eastridge Workforce Solutions offers the following benefits, subject to applicable eligibility requirements.
