Supervisor, Machine ShopWe are looking for a Supervisor, Machine Shop to join our team in Hatfield!You will be responsible for leading CNC and manual machining operations, ensuring efficient setup, programming, and execution across a range of equipment. This role provides hands-on technical guidance to machinists, manages production schedules, and fosters team development to drive performance and continuous improvement.Location: Hatfield, PA (Onsite)Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 plus bonus opportunityBenefits: We Take Care of Our PeoplePaid Time Off I 401K with Employer Match and Profit Sharing I Health and Wellness Benefits I Learning and Development Opportunities I Referral Program I Competitive Pay I Recognition I Employee Stock Purchase Plan I Inclusive & Supportive CultureYour Challenge:Oversee CNC and manual machinists, including scheduling, task delegation, and workload management.Supervise direct reports: conduct performance evaluations, handle PTO, and foster professional development.Maintain and prioritize the production schedule to meet deadlines and customer requirements.Coordinate manpower and machine availability to maximize efficiency.Ensure all setups and machining processes adhere to quality and safety standards.Offer hands-on troubleshooting and technical support for machining activities.Develop and improve machine shop procedures in line with company standards and production goals.Develop, modify, and optimize CNC programs for a variety of machining centers: Swiss Lathes, Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL), CNC turning centers, and milling centers.Identify and resolve issues related to tooling, programming, and machine performance.Oversee preventive maintenance (PM) of machine tools and other shop equipment.Show ability to repair CNC machines and other mechanical or electrical equipment as needed.Communicate with suppliers to ensure timely deliverables for outside servicesPerform regular checks to ensure machining operations meet specified tolerances.Keep accurate records of schedules, performance metrics, and procedural updates.Provide input on capital expenditures and staffing needsWhat You Bring:Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.Experience in managing a machine shop environment is advantageous.Proven experience in CNC programming, setup, and operation, along with practical experience with CNC Swiss, VTL, CNC turning, and milling centers.Strong communication skills are essential for presenting to both technical and non-technical audiences.Ability to work cross-functionally and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced production setting is important.Commitment to mentoring, knowledge sharing, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
