Machine Shop SupervisorThe Machine Shop Supervisor oversees day-to-day machining operations and ensure production meets the Company's high standards for quality, safety, and efficiency. This role is critical in driving manufacturing performance, maintaining production standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the shop floor. This position is responsible for developing manufacturing plans, establishing procedures, and ensuring compliance with customer and Company quality requirements.

This individual will partner closely with plant leadership to optimize productivity, reduce scrap and rework, and ensure operational readiness to meet production demands.Location: Camden, NJ (On-site)Primary Responsibilities:Oversee daily machine shop operations to ensure production schedules are met safely and efficientlyDevelop and implement manufacturing plans and production procedures aligned with quality standardsMonitor production performance, including scrap and rework, and implement improvements to drive efficiency and cost reductionEstablish, maintain, and continuously improve production standards and workflowsAdjust production schedules based on operational needs, priorities, and delivery timelinesSupervise, coach, and develop shop floor associates to ensure high performance and accountabilityEnforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirementsLead continuous improvement initiatives and support equipment maintenance, repairs, and operational changesCollaborate cross-functionally with engineering, quality, and operations teams to meet customer requirementsSupport training, performance management, and workforce development to maintain a skilled and compliant workforceRequirements:Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or machining environmentMinimum of ten (10) years of hands-on experience operating CNC and manual machine toolsStrong knowledge of machining processes and manufacturing operationsAbility to read and interpret blueprints, including geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)Working knowledge of CNC programmingDemonstrated commitment to workplace safety and ability to enforce safety standardsStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsFlexibility to work all shifts and weekends as requiredStrong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate across teamsProven problem-solving and decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced environmentProficiency in Microsoft Office SuiteStrong organizational and time management skillCompensation: Annual compensation based on skills and experience ranging from $90,000 to $120,000Benefits: Industry-leading medical, dental, and vision coverage with a generous employer premium contribution and Day 1 eligibility!
