Machine ProgrammerSalt Lake City, Utah, United StatesJOB SUMMARY:As the Machinist III, Machine Programmer, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our clients' machining capabilities to a heightened standard, fostering the company's growth trajectory.QUALIFICATIONS:- Comprehensive understanding of machine shop operations.- Team player with proven ability to collaborate effectively.- Proficiency and extensive knowledge of Mill & Lathe three and four-axis C.N.C. machines.- Skilled in setting up machines and conducting First Article Inspections.- Familiarity with tooling, including cutters, inserts, and tooling holders.- Experience in implementing organizational tools such as 5S.- Prior involvement in machine maintenance, including coolant oils and filters.- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.RESPONSIBILITIES:- Proficient in MasterCam programming.- Preparedness to set up jobs across various machines and train team members for enhanced efficiency.- Continuous refinement of processes on a daily basis.- Ensuring the availability of correct procedures and blueprints for all machining jobs.- Striving for efficient job kitting to minimize waste.- Maintaining awareness of scheduling, production status, and inventory levels.- Familiarization with part and fixture names in alignment with procedural requirements.- Contributing to the enhancement of shop safety protocols.- Upholding cleanliness standards within the machine shop.- Supporting the team in achieving 22 hours of machine runtime daily.- Comprehensive comprehension of prints and their GD&T specifications.BENEFITS:Medical and dental coverage with generous company contribution401K plan with company matchEmployee life insurance with supplemental options available
