Machine Press Operator - Blanking, 2nd ShiftAs a Machine Press Operator - Blanking in our Production department within the Blades business, your goal is to successfully set up and operate presses, mills and auto-forming machines to achieve specified formed blade dimensions.You can expect to:Set up and operate blanking presses according to production specifications and work ordersLoad raw materials (metal sheets, coils, or plates) into the pressMonitor press operation to ensure proper cutting and shaping of metal partsInspect finished parts for quality, accuracy, and compliance with specificationsAdjust machine settings, tooling, and dies to maintain product qualityPerform basic troubleshooting and report mechanical issues to maintenance personnelConduct routine preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipmentMaintain accurate production records, including quantities, scrap, and downtimeEnsure all safety protocols and PPE requirements are followed at all timesRemove finished parts and scrap materials safely from work areaCollaborate with supervisors and quality teams to improve processes and efficiencyThe above statements are intended only to describe the general nature of the job and should not be construed as an all-inclusive list of position responsibilities.
