Whether your journey with us lasts two days or two years, we value your contribution.What You'll Do as a Wire Machine Operator:Set up, operate, and monitor wire drawing machines to produce wire to specific gauges and specifications.Once trained you will load steel rods and coils using overhead cranes or forklifts and thread wire through machine dies.Measure wire using calipers, micrometers, and other precision tools to ensure quality.Monitor machine speed, wire tension, and lubrication and make adjustments as needed.Identify and report equipment issues, quality concerns, downtime, and material usage.Complete production documentation and maintain accurate records.Keep your work area clean and organized while following all safety procedures and PPE requirements.Skills and ExperienceWhat You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:Previous machine operation experience in manufacturing or a heavy industrial environment strongly preferred.Wire drawing, metal fabrication, extrusion, or similar experience is a plus.Ability to use calipers and micrometers and perform basic industrial math.Overhead crane or forklift experience is preferred (training provided)Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
