Machine OperatorNow hiring experienced Machine Operators to work for a Cable-Manufacturing facility in Milton, FL. The Machine Operators work in various departments: Screening/Stranding; Jacketing; Take-Up; & WTEC (Wire Technician). All eligible candidates MUST have the willingness to learn the company's process. Previous experience as a Machine Operator is required, but it does not have to be on this specific machinery. Any experience with wire drawing and/or spool reels is a plus. We truly believe that our company is a rewarding career destination.Duties and Responsibilities:Safely operate the various machinery that is used in our cable manufacturing facility.Read/interpret/understand blueprints and/or drawings (including symbols, material type, and material shape).Setting up the screening and/or stranding machines independently from a selection of tooling options: set-up, pay-off, take-up; setting running parameters; consistently monitor the QUALITY of product.Familiar with using/operating electronic screens for controlling the screening or stranding process (Human Machine Interface).Good mechanical skills with the ability to handle and move heavy reels of products.Must maintain a consistent log of production AND quality per company systems & standards.Maintain safe operations by adhering to company safety procedures and policies.Experience:At least 1 year as a manufacturing Machine Operator (or as a CNC Operator) is preferred but NOT required.At least 1 year of experience working in a manufacturing/machining environment is preferred but NOT required.Education: High school Diploma (or equivalent) is preferred but NOT required.
