Machine Operators Temp To Hire$18/hrSchedule: Monday through Friday, with two shifts available (5am - 2pm OR 8am - 5pm). Must be available for both.Position OverviewWe are seeking two dependable, mechanically inclined individuals to join our manufacturing team as Machine Operators. We are looking to fill two distinct roles: one Centerless Grinder Operator and one Draw Machine Operator.
While full training will be provided for both machines, candidates must possess a strong mechanical aptitude, experience using precision measuring tools, and the ability to perform machine setups. If you are detail-oriented, enjoy hands-on troubleshooting, and want to grow your manufacturing career, we want to hear from you!Key ResponsibilitiesMachine Operation: Set up, adjust, and operate either a Centerless Grinder or a Draw Machine according to production specifications.Monitoring & Quality Control: Closely monitor the machine during operation to ensure smooth production and prevent defects.Precision Measurement: Use Outer Diameter (OD) micrometers, calipers, and other gauges to verify that finished parts meet strict quality standards.Machine Setups: Perform regular changeovers, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting to keep machines running efficiently.Safety & Maintenance: Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to all company safety protocols.Qualifications & SkillsMechanically Inclined: Strong natural mechanical aptitude and a knack for understanding how machinery works.Technical Experience: Prior experience using OD micrometers and other precision measuring tools is required.Setup Experience: Hands-on experience performing machine setups and mechanical adjustments.Attentive & Focused: Ability to monitor running machinery for long periods and catch discrepancies quickly.Reliable: Dependable punctuality and attendance are musts for our team.What We OfferCompetitive Starting Pay: $18 per hour.Comprehensive Training: Paid, hands-on training tailored to the specific machine you will operate.
