Machine OperatorsIchor Systems has an immediate opening for Machine Operators on all shifts, located in Austin, Texas. Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic machines including robotic assembly equipment used in the production of the company's product. Responsible for the overall operation of potentially large-scale manufacturing machinery including actions such as feeding materials for processing, adjusting settings, performing minor repairs, and pulling finished product from the line.
Works from process sheets or written/verbal instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks. Checks and inspects operation results against predetermined tolerances.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesPerform basic set-ups and operate machines in more than one assigned areaOperate complex equipment and machines in a safe mannerFit, align and adjust machines or assemblies to meet tolerances and product operating requirementsWork from schedules, shop orders, established procedures, blueprints, and specificationsIdentify deviations that can potentially interrupt productivityMaintain logs and other necessary documentsWork with direct supervisionAbility to sit, stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.Desired Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesAbility to recognize deviation from accepted practicesAbility to operate a variety of machinesBasic understanding of related mechanics, flow control elements and MRP conceptsVisual acuity and manual dexterityGood verbal and written communication skillsDesired Education, Certifications and Experience1-2+ years manufacturing or related work experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentOur pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
