Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
This role involves operating a variety of saw machines to cut metal piping to specified lengths and thicknesses based on customer work orders. You will use computer interfaces, follow detailed measurements, and perform basic quality checks to ensure accuracy and consistency in every cut.
Essential Skills
* Prior experience operating saw machines in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
* Ability to accurately interpret and use a tape measure for precise measurements.
* Strong math skills, including working confidently with fractions and decimals.
* Comfort using a computer to enter, review, and adjust job information and machine settings.
* Ability to read and follow work orders and production instructions.
* Capability to learn and perform quality checks using tape measures, micrometers, and calipers.
* Willingness and ability to train on first shift for approximately 12 weeks before moving to the assigned shift.
* Commitment to following safety procedures and using required personal protective equipment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Wrightsville, PA. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.
