Machine Operator

Centerless GrinderWe have an exciting opportunity to join a fun, employee-focused environment with a growing manufacturing company. The Centerless Grinder will be responsible for setting up and operating one or more centerless grinding machines to grind external cylindrical or tapered surfaces of rotating metal, aluminum, plastic workpieces to blueprint specifications, following instructions and applying knowledge of grinding procedures.

Responsibilities range from reading blueprints and job orders for product specifications to setting up, testing and operating grinding machines.If your personal mantra is "Professionalism, Confidentiality, and Motivation equal Success… and that Success is me" we want to hear from you!What You'll Need To Be Successful:A vocational education or apprenticeship in an industrial environmentPrior manufacturing work experienceExperience using a manual micrometerObtains basic math and mechanical aptitudesHigh standards of dependability, quality and serviceAnd most importantly, enjoys coming to work, being part of a team, and getting "stuff" doneWhat You Can Expect (The Day to Day):Manufacturing quality parts in a timely manner, inspecting and measuring to ensure quality and completenessIdentify and report on problems, looking for solutions and seeking continuous improvements in proceduresReading blueprints and job orders to understand product specificationsAccurately completing paperworkAnd most importantly, enjoys coming to work, being part of a team, and getting "stuff" doneFirst Shift 6:00am to 2:45pm Monday through Friday
