Machine OperatorWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join our fast-paced stone fabrication team. The position operates from Monday through Thursday, 4:00 AM to 2:30 PM.ResponsibilitiesAccurately measure and cut granite to job specifications using a tape measure and shop diagrams.Operate and feed polishing and beveling machines.Cut granite to length after processing, ensuring precision and adherence to design.Manage the proper flow of tops to stay on production schedule.Select and utilize appropriate tooling for CNC-based machinery.Participate in preventative maintenance for CNC equipment.Maximize production efficiency while minimizing remakes.Assist in process development related to CNC routers.Adjust and dress CNC tooling as needed.Essential SkillsMachine operation, including polishing and fabricating parts for countertops consisting of granite, quartz, and other materials.General labor and machine operating skills.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and shop diagrams.Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, saw operation, and grinders.Mechanical aptitude and experience in construction.Strong ability to use a tape measure and perform sanding, finishing, and deburring tasks.Additional Skills & QualificationsRequires Steel Toed-Non Slip Boots (PCT can provide wet boots if needed).Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, multi-priority environment.Basic math skills and ability to measure in standard or metric units.Demonstrated problem-solving skills and openness to process improvement.Work EnvironmentThe work environment is wet and dirtier, with some areas having standing water.
