This opportunity is based on a Machine Operator career path and is being offered by Staffmark to qualified candidates.Job DutiesSelect the appropriate job according to the shop floor control system or as directed by the leader. Perform setup using appropriate work instructions, blueprints, and other specifications, including the development and adjustment of simple CNC programs. Perform adjustments to machine parameters as trained, including necessary robot calibrations. Verify capability of process utilizing SPC or other control methods, with process-specific measuring devices. Verify process is meeting all ocular inspection criteria. Ensure process is running to defined levels of efficiency and utilization. Perform routine maintenance on equipment and tooling as required, including maintaining and assessing tooling requirements. Maintain the equipment and surrounding area with order and cleanliness, including completion of daily housekeeping duties. Perform job in accordance with all safety and environmental requirements. Perform other tasks as assigned by the manager.Education RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED.Experience Requirements6+ months of manufacturing experience. Close attention to detail with a strong visual perception.

Experienced in the use of various measuring gauges and equipment. Knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing preferred.Preferred Qualifications2 years of experience working in a mechanical or process industry preferred.Physical CapabilitiesAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 40 pounds. Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
