Read below for more information!What You’ll Do As The Machine Operator:Ensure a safe work environment for oneself and othersFollow all safety rules and regulationsSet automatic controls, observe gauges, and operate a gas or electric furnace used to harden temper, anneal heat treat metal partsLoad parts into containers in accordance with load diagrams, close the furnace door, and insert parts into the furnace when the specified temperature is reachedRemove parts from the furnace after the specified time, and air dry or cool parts in water, oil, brine, or other bathsRead the production schedule to determine the processing sequence and furnace temperature requirements for objects to be heat-treatedRead the work order to determine processing specificationsLight gas burners and adjust the flow of gas and coolant waterOperate packaging washer equipment where applicableWhat You Need To Be A Machine Operator:High school diploma or GED3+ months of heat treat experience preferred, but not requiredAbility to follow work instructionsGood attendanceAbility to safely operate a forkliftAbility to lift up to 70 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodationsBoost your wallet with a new job working with a great team…apply now!
