Machine OperatorHamilton Connections is looking for a machine operator for a manufacturing company in the Waterbury area. Previous machine operator experience required. This is a temp-to-perm position.
7 a.m.- 3:30 p.m., Monday-Friday, $17.50 per hour.Key Responsibilities:Identify in-process product conditionCollect samples during the production processConduct in-process inspections per the assigned control planReport any defect conditions observed to the quality department for dispositionComply with policies, procedures, and regulationsMaintain Production Line Operation:Loading of raw material stockClean and lubricate machine's componentsMove production to the next operation and document those tasks as assignedEnsure 6S practices are conducted throughout the assigned areaNon-Essential Responsibilities:Performs other duties as directedPosition Qualifications and Competency Statements:Ability to be a team playerAbility to communicate effectivelySkills and Abilities:High school diploma and/or equivalentExperience with deep draw and progressive manufacturing a plusAbility to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to use hand trucks and other equipment to aid in moving product to next operationMust be able to use and read calipers, micrometers, dial gages, etc. to ensure product meets customer's specifications
