This is an excellent opportunity for experienced manufacturing professionals with strong mechanical aptitude who are looking to join a team!Job SummaryThe Machine Operator is responsible for operating, monitoring, and troubleshooting equipment and processes used in molded fiber production while maintaining safety, quality, and production standards.ResponsibilitiesOperate and monitor production equipment according to company procedures and safety standards.Maintain knowledge of assigned equipment, processes, and operating requirements.Perform quality checks to ensure products meet production standards.Identify and communicate equipment issues or production concerns.Assist with basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance activities.Support material handling, inventory tracking, and production documentation.Utilize computer systems for production records and inventory information as needed.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures.Work closely with production, maintenance, and other team members to meet operational goals.Assist in other areas of the facility as needed.QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required.Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.Knowledge of plant safety, environmental requirements, and good manufacturing practices.Strong math, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to work day or night shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.Physical RequirementsAbility to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.Ability to wear required PPE, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and other safety equipment.If you are an experienced manufacturing professional looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing company, apply today with AtWork Personnel!
