We are seeking a dependable CNC Machine Operator to operate CNC cutting equipment, monitor production, and ensure quality standards are met.This position is ideal for candidates with experience in machine operation, manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, woodworking, packaging, or other hands-on industrial environments. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and measuring skills are encouraged to apply.What You'll DoOperate CNC cutting equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently.Input measurements and cutting instructions into CNC software.Inspect materials and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy.Perform routine machine adjustments and basic troubleshooting.Complete production documentation using paper records and computer systems, including Excel.Read rulers, tape measures, and work instructions accurately.Cut, assemble, touch up, and prepare products according to specifications.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.Assist with additional manufacturing and production tasks as needed.What We're Looking ForExperience operating machinery in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.Ability to accurately read a ruler and tape measure.Basic math skills for measurements and machine inputs.Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.Ability to stand throughout the shift and work in a fast-paced environment.Ability to lift 50+ pounds throughout the day.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.Reliable attendance and a team-oriented attitude.Preferred QualificationsCNC machine operation experience.Manufacturing, production, assembly, fabrication, woodworking, or machine operator experience.Experience using measuring tools and performing quality inspections.Familiarity with production documentation and data entry.Experience meeting production goals in a manufacturing setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Virginia Beach, VA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
