Machine OperatorTrillium Construction is now hiring Machine Operators / Assembly Fabricators in the Tuscaloosa, AL area!Work will take place in an industrial fabrication shop. Schedule is Monday-Thursday 4am-4:30pm and Fridays 6am-11am. Fulltime, long-term work.
Pay is $30-$36/hour depending on experience.DutiesSets up and operates band saw to cut metal stock to dimensionsReads drawing cut sheet(s) for specifications, such as material, type, and size of stock, and dimensions to be cut.Obtains and transfers stock to machine, manually or with hoist.Records material cuts & scrap on dwg cut sheetsAble to measure work accurately for conformance to specifications, using tape measureMarks identifying data on workpiece (project name and drawing referencesBundles cut sheet pieces together and/or places them on staging cartsRequirements1+ years of industrial experience is preferredAbility to pass pre employment screeningsMust be able to operate an industrial powered fork truckMust be able to work with various hand toolsMust be able to work with overhead cranesDemonstrated proficiency reading and interpreting work orders and drawings.Able to work independently or as a team playerPerform work standing up in work cell for 8-10 hours per day and up to 6 days a week.Trillium Construction Services has been recruiting and hiring construction and skilled trades talent for over 30 years.
