Machine Operator 1Produce welded pipe, cut blanks, and produce small components utilizing laser welders & front-end machinesMajor Responsibilities:Operate machinery according to established guidelines and safety protocolsOperate FlexiStar, 400, 1000, Gary Line, Mecon, Flat Laser, Plasma, Novatec & Re-shear, small rotaryMonitor equipment performance and report any issues to team lead and supervisorsPerform routine maintenance and cleaning of machineryComplete schedule for day and note any down time or other issues preventing you from completing schedule.Check material for any defects. Let supervisor and quality department know when defects are foundKnow how to accurately read and use a tape measure to 1/32".Fill out work order paperworkMaintain a clean workstation and production floor.Be punctual and maintain good attendance.Skills & Experience:Entry level positionAttention to detailAccurately read and use a tape measure to 1/32".Accurately read pie tape.Accurately use a micrometerManufacturing experience preferred but not required
