They are responsible for ensuring the machine produces high quality products, runs smoothly and at capacity, and is properly maintained.Essential Functions:Operation of Laser and CNC machineOperation of drill presses, notcher and spot welderRead and comprehend instructions and follow established proceduresCollect all material and equipment needed to begin the processCheck output to ensure highest qualityMaintain equipment in good conditionReport on issues, malfunction, or defective partsMaintain a safe work environment by following all company protocols, regulations, and proceduresAll other duties as assignedRequired Qualifications:Technical knowledge, attention to detail, have extreme focus and accuracyAbility to follow standard operating proceduresAbility to read and interpret blueprintsAbility in using tools and machineryGood understanding of quality control principlesGood communication skillsExcellent hand-eye coordination and physical conditionAbility to work in a Non-A/C environmentPreferred Qualifications:At least one-year related experience preferred as a Laser or machine operator or similar role in a manufacturing settingSome experience as a CNC Operator preferredSome experience in CAD preferredWorking Conditions:While performing duties of the job, incumbent is required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hand to finger handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hearEmployee must occasionally lift and/or move up 50 poundsSpecific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focusNon-A/C work area; the noise level can periodically be higher than normal, hearing protection may be requiredThe anticipated pay range for this position is $17.00 - $23.00, hourly.

The actual base pay offered will vary depending on multiple factors including job- related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location.
