Machine OperatorA Machine Operator is a professional who is responsible for operating their assigned machinery. They ensure their machine runs smoothly, works at capacity without issue and is appropriately maintained.Supervisory Responsibilities:Duties/Responsibilities:Run various converting equipment including but not limited to:slitter machinelaminating machinerotary die cutterflatbed die cutterrewind tables for product inspectionInspect labels for defectsPerform all required quality checksPackage labels for shipmentComplete required paperworkUse QAD to issue/receive product to work orders and print core/box labelsComplete miscellaneous tasks as requestedSkills/Abilities:Prior production/manufacturing experience preferredHigh level of attention to detail and accuracyDemonstrated ability to process product within quality and productivity standardsMust be able to read and understand all associated paperwork and toolsSlitting / Laminating experience preferredRotary die cutting experience preferredFlat Bed die cutting experience preferredRoll fed flexographic experience preferredStrong mechanical aptitudeStrong analytical, organizational, communication and computer skillsAble to work in a team environmentEducation and Experience:High school diploma or equivalent.Physical Requirements:Prolonged periods of standing at a machine.Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
