Machine Operator

Vinyl LaminatorPrimarily responsible for setting up machine with master roll of vinyl and master roll of board or paper and then run together onto one roll.Job Duties:Maintains a clean and orderly work area/warehouseMaintains a safe working environment by following all company safety policies and procedures and reports unsafe conditions and incidents, while maintaining quality standards.Loads master rolls of vinyl and liner on laminator and align vinyl and liner to be laminated.Responsible for recording jobs into computer with correct usage to maintain inventoryIdentifies poor quality material and notifies the supervisor and/or Quality ControlIdentify equipment needing repair and notify supervisor/team leadMust be willing to work in other departments and/or areas and complete miscellaneous duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High School diploma and/or equivalent and one year of related experienceMust have organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-taskMust be able to keep up with production standardsExceptional attention to detail and good follow-up skillsMust possess good problem solving skillsAbility to interact in a professional manner with coworkers and other departmentsAbility to communicate effectively both verbally and in writingBasic computer skillsWillingness to work as team member or independentlyMust be able to read a tape measureMust be able to lift up to 50#'sMust be able to read a micrometerMust be able to stand for 8 hours with some bending and lifting involvedTranscendia is an equal opportunity employer and will consider all candidates for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability status, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
