In this role, you will operate a variety of metal fabrication equipment used to cut, shape, bend, and form metal materials according to production specifications. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and committed to producing quality work in a safe manufacturing environment.Job Responsibilities• Operate fabrication equipment including cutoff saws, shears, press brakes, rolls, presses, punch presses, forming machines, and spinning machines.• Read and interpret work orders, blueprints, and job specifications to determine machine setup and material requirements.• Set machine stops, guides, and tooling according to measurements and production specifications.• Measure and inspect finished parts to ensure quality and dimensional accuracy.• Load, position, and secure materials for processing.• Perform routine machine adjustments and notify supervisors of equipment issues.• Maintain a clean and organized work area while following all safety procedures.• Meet daily production goals while maintaining quality standards.Qualifications• Previous manufacturing or machine operating experience preferred.• Ability to read a tape measure and follow written instructions.• Mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment.• Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
